Her debut album, Some Hearts, was certified 7x platinum and is the fastest selling debut country album in history. Some Hearts, has yielded five #1 hits on the country charts: "Inside Your Heaven," "Jesus, Take the Wheel", "Don't Forget to Remember Me", "Wasted," and her biggest hit to date, "Before He Cheats."  Her second album, Carnival Ride (which is certified 2x Platinum by the RIAA) has sold over 2 million copies and has produced two #1 country hits, "So Small." and "All-American Girl."

Country music singer-songwriter Josh Turner signed to MCA Nashville Records in 2003 and made his debut on the American country music charts with the Top 20 single "Long Black Train". His debut album, by the same name has been certified platinum. In 2005, Turner charted his first two #1 singles on the Billboard country charts: "Your Man" and "Would You Go With Me", both from his Your Man album, which has been certified double platinum. Sally Yeh sometimes written as Sally Yip or Sin-Man Yip is a cantopop singer in the Hong Kong music industry and an actress in the Hong Kong film industry. Yeh's singing career started in the early 1980s and gradually expanded in the following decades with a total of thirty albums, plus forty-odd compilations and live recordings. Her jazz-trained vocals allow her to handle a wide range of musical genres. Apart from a good record track of original hits, Sally Yeh has, through the years, covered a number of Western songs, ranging from Madonna to Céline Dion by way of the Titanic theme song. She has also collaborated on a number of soundtracks (mostly on Tsui Hark's movies with scores by Wong Jim), including "Lai Ming But Yiu Loi" from A Chinese Ghost Story (1987), which won the Best Original Song award at the 7th Hong Kong Film Awards.

Nicknamed Asia's Songbird, Regine Velasquez is a Filipina singer, actress, record producer, and TV host and was the first Filipina to stage a solo concert at the Main Hall of Carnegie Hall, part of Carnegie Hall's centennial-year concert series. Her album Listen Without Prejudice achieved platinum certification in several countries. In 2000, she performed the country's millennial theme, televised in 55 broadcast networks throughout the world to coincide with midnight in Manila."In Love With You," a duet with Jacky Cheung, reached MTV Asia and Channel V music charts. She has collaborated with artists such as Paul Anka, 98 Degrees, Brian McKnight and Mandy Moore, among others. She embarked on several television and film projects, receiving a Best Actress Award for her portrayal of a mentally challenged woman in Maalaala Mo Kaya.
