NEW POKER ROOM OPENS AT SILVER LEGACY

Grand Opening Tournament Scheduled for July 6-9
RENO, NV (June 8, 2017) – As $50 million in renovations continue at the Eldorado Resorts Downtown Reno properties, Silver Legacy Resort Casino is excited to announce the opening of its brand new, poker room, which will service guests and ONE Club members at Silver Legacy, Eldorado Resort Casino and Circus Circus Reno. The poker room is equipped with 13 tables, is open 24 hours and is located on the main casino floor next to the all-new Canter’s Deli.
“Combined with Canter’s Deli, our new, state-of-the-art poker room is a $1.8 million project that provides our poker players with a playing experience unparalleled in northern Nevada,” Gene Carano, Senior Vice President of Regional Operations, said. “As our company continues to grow, it is vital that we continue to improve on our gaming operations, which we do with much pride and always with our guests in mind.”
Silver Legacy’s new Poker Room is managed by Margie Heintz, who is credited with being the first woman to ever deal at the World Series of Poker. Heintz is also a member of the Women in Poker Hall of Fame. She was inducted in 2011.
The room is spacious, with high ceilings, 12 TVs, three custom-made chandeliers and a marble concessions bar that serves coffee, donuts, muffins, cookies, brownies and sandwiches throughout the day. Private tournaments are available for business, golf groups, bachelor parties and more.
In addition, the Silver Legacy Poker Room is now available on the Bravo Poker Live app which allows players to view game schedules and tournaments.
A No Limit Hold’em Grand Opening Tournament will be held July 6 – 9 and will feature Beat the Boss Bounties and Guest Bounties, plus a $10,000 prize pool and $2,000 in bounties. To qualify, poker players must log 60 hours of play now through July 3 then participate in qualifying flights on July 6 at 12 p.m. or 6 p.m. to compete in the finals on July 9 at 12 p.m.
A daily tournament is offered for $40 with $10 bounties at 10 a.m. with sign-ups beginning at 9 a.m. On Tuesdays and Wednesdays, a 6 p.m. tournament for $45 with $10 bounties is available. Sign-ups begin at 5 p.m. Additional games that run daily include No Limit Texas Hold’em, $3/$6 Limit Hold’em, $3/$6 Limit Hold’em/Full Kill and Seven Card Stud.
